Without herding dogs you wouldn't be having milk for breakfest or steak or hamburgers for dinner. That's why you most likely see police man with German Shepherds. German Shepherds also make great search & rescue type of dogs. No wonder they have these jobs, they're intellengent and srtong. That's why their obedirnce is very good if you train them, if you don't your dog could maybe even turn out smarter then you.
